Odds & Ends

A collector at heart, Odds & Ends is sometimes considered a hoarder as he’s never thrown a single thing away. Some of his favorite collections include his prized polished stones, his garden gnomes and a lovely series of velvet paintings.

R.B. Rice

R.B. Rice prefers to always stand at-the-ready so he will never be caught off-guard by anyone. He enjoys broadcasting on his own ham radio frequency modulation and is currently teaching himself Morse code. R.B. Rice’s favorite thing to do is to curl up with a good book and a can of Spam.

Walkie and Talkie, the Twins

The twins, Walkie and Talkie, enjoy making forts out of old boxes and practicing volcano experiments. They spend a lot of time arguing over the merits of kung fu versus karate and about which zombie movie is the best one ever made. Although Walkie is much better at Minesweeper, Talkie is always quick to point out that he usually wins at Monopoly.

Gong

Gong is obsessed with bubble wrap and will pop every last bubble that he comes in contact with. He enjoys graph paper and graphing calculators and is currently saving up to buy himself the Texas Instruments TI-92. He dreams of visiting the International Space Station one day.

Sanitizor

Personal hygiene is very important to Sanitizor, so much so that he’s been known to disinfect himself daily. For fun, he collects troll dolls, draws caricatures and enjoys doing taxes. Sanitizor’s favorite food is Macadamia integrifolia, also known as the macadamia nut.

Ol' Blue

A botany hobbyist, Ol’ Blue spends much of his spare time studying the classification, structure and functions of plant life. He’s a huge fan of photosynthesis and likes to discuss it with friends as often as possible. Ol’ Blue’s prized possession is his Rubik’s cube, which he has yet to solve.

Oddmund

Completely obsessed with ornithology, Oddmund cannot hide his enthusiasm for professional birding. He loves argyle socks, making shadow puppets and has a strange fascination with toothpaste. He’s currently working towards collecting spoons from all 50 states.

Hilti

Hilti spends a lot of time reading self-help books and watching Dr. Phil reruns. He enjoys playing dominoes, reading the classifieds and creating Lite Brite art. When nervous, he’s been known to sometimes eat Chapstick as a light snack.

Exide

Obsessed with his dayplanner, Exide keeps track of every one of his daily activities. For fun, he does homework out of textbooks he purchased at a yard sale. He also thoroughly enjoys putting together jigsaw puzzles. Exide’s favorite food is waffles with ice cream.

Uniflex

Uniflex, a struggling science fiction writer, has such a strong aversion to daylight that he almost never ventures outdoors. He likes to play Solitaire and is almost always up for a rousing game of pick-up sticks. He’s currently saving up his freelance writing earnings to buy himself The Clapper.

Uneeda

Uneeda enjoys darning socks and making lovely fake floral arrangements. She participates in a chess club, studies meteorology and has a strange fascination with Kleenex. Uneeda has a large collection of miniatures and dollhouses, but what she really wants is a pony.

Adjust-A-Volt

Adjust-A-Volt enjoys making tie-dye outfits for his friends and family and sports them quite regularly himself. In his spare time, he keeps occupied by studying alien abductions and training his hamsters to ride bikes and unicycles. He would like a pair of goggles to wear over his eyeglasses to keep them from getting scratched in his training sessions.

Farm Master

As a proud member of Mensa, Farm Master has always wanted to get a tattoo of his IQ. He enjoys studying just about anything he can get his hands on, particularly forestry, molecules and windmills. Farm Master’s favorite color is plaid and says the only food he could never live without is porridge.

Ingrid

Ingrid, a caffeine addict, enjoys her daily cup of joe with a side of Fig Newtons, her favorite food. Her hobbies include making paper dolls, dressing up dogs and studying normative economics. Although it’s quite time consuming, Ingrid proudly leads her local chapter of the Junior Kiwanis Club.

Colt

For the life of him, Colt can’t figure out how to use zippers and gets incredibly frustrated when it comes to chopsticks. In his free time, he enjoys painting ceramics and polishing his collection of gems and minerals. He’s currently studying mollusks and dreams of one day traveling the country giving lectures on the topic.
